Reduce speed limit to 20 mph past school and ban parking at school times

Slow traffic down in this area. People are stepping out on to a very busy road to socially distance and vehicles have nearly hit them as they are driving well over the speed limit.

The market area should be vehicle free. This would encourage people to stay longer. Needs to have seating, play areas, rain and sun covers/sails. More like a plaza where people can mingle and look around at the beautiful buildings.

Road is too narrow. Needs to be fully paved to be continuos with other pedestrian areas. Make shopping in Devizes more pleasant and people might linger longer in a fume free area.

Widen streets. Cafe areas. Pedestrians only.

This should be pedestrianised. Pavement widened. Cafe culture and sun and rain covers.

This lane has been closed to motorised traffic before, so it is not NEEDED for cars. It is the only safe alternative to the A4 for cyclists, but the lane is narrow, potholed at the sides, and cars using it often drive too fast.

This is, I always understood, a car parking area owned by Wiltshire Wildlife Trust for visitors to the reserve. It should not be used as a public car park for ramblers and 'visitors' to the Hatches.

Social gatherings

Hook Street is a rat run and could provide filtered access to cut down the volume of traffic. cars have a good alternative via J16.

Close the road except to buses/taxis/delivery vehicles
